RIIMPO316D Compactor General Information:
The course is designed to train participants up to the latest RII Competency Standards required for operators of loadshifting equipment.
This type of machine is necessary for civil contracting companies along with those in the waste, recycling, mining and land regeneration industries.
There is also a requirement for operators of this equipment to be licenced.
Who should attend:
Existing operators who may require upskilling or students seeking to enter the earthmoving industry with a goal of enhancing their employment prospects.
At the completion of this course the participant will be able to:
- Understand and have a knowledge of WH&S Regulations
- Operate the compactor to RII Competency Standards
- Conduct basic maintenance and service procedures
- Have hazard awareness
All participants will be fully supervised in real work site situations.
At the successful completion of this course trainees are awarded a nationally recognised statement of attainment from one of our partner registered training organisations.
